Give your referees plenty of time to write thoughtful, detailed letters and provide them with the kind of information relevant to the scholarship and your application.

6. Demonstrate Impact

It is looking for scholars who will make an impact in society. Be sure to highlight not just your academic work but also how your research has or will create real-world change. 7. Emphasis on Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Potential

Interdisciplinarity is a greatly valued feature of interdisciplinary research and collaboration between disciplines. If your research indeed falls under an inter- disciplinary multiple discipline or inter- discipline collaboration with expertise from other fields, highlight this particular aspect. Your ability to collaborate and work across academic boundaries can add more strength to your application.

8. Plan for Public Engagement

One outstanding feature of the scholarship is with the call to engage with the public.
