National Essay Contest is open for adults from 18 and above and young children from 8 – 17 years.

Yes you can reapply after rejection as many times as you wish.

Yes you can apply for multiples competitions at the same time. 

Pakistani Rs. 500/ will be charged from each participant of the competition. You are requested submit Rs. 500/= Fess for each competition. This Fees is used for providing support to students with financial emergency which may impede their academic progress and ability to complete classes. Youth For Pakistan is non-profit organization, we conduct 16 competitions on monthly basis, so we can not provide cash prize but we provide certificate to winners and put winners profile on our website and social media platforms.

Rules and Regulations

1. Eligibility: All nationalities and all ages are eligible to participate in the contest.
2. Theme: The essays must be on the theme given by the Youth For Pakistan. Creativity and original ideas on the theme are encouraged.
3. Guidelines for Submission: All submissions should be made online or sent to one of the email addresses provided. Preferred format should be a typed document in standard word processing software. Submissions should be original and unpublished.
4. Word Limit: The essays should not exceed 2000 words. Articles above that limit may be disqualified.
5. Language: All entries should be submitted in English only.
6. Deadline: All entries must reach us before the deadline. No late entries will be accepted.
7. Plagiarism: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All entries will be checked for plagiarism, and any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
8. Judging Criteria: The entries will be judged on originality, creativity, adherence to the theme, clarity of expression, and overall impact. The decision of the judging panel is final and binding.
9. Multiple Entries: Contestants can submit multiple entries, but each entry shall be unique and comply with the guidelines.
10. Awards and Recognition: The winning essays will be announced on a date to be specified above. Prizes, if any, shall be awarded to the winners as decided upon by the judges. Winning essays will be published or featured on the contest website or in related publications.
11. Winner’s Notification: The winner will be contacted using the contact information provided in the submission form, which is the email address. If the winner cannot be reached after a specified time, then another winner will be selected.
12. Rights and Permissions: The submitter of the work gives YFP the right to publish and use the work appropriately, crediting the source.
13. Confidentiality: The judges and the organizers shall maintain confidentiality in dealing with the submitted entries. Public disclosure, however, of only winning entries will be acceptable.
14. Contact Information: Correct contact information is to be given at the time of submitting an entry.
15. Disqualification: Submissions not conforming to rules and guidelines are subject to disqualification.
16. Amendments: Organizing Committee is entitled to alter or incorporate additional rules whenever needed. All amendments will reach participants in time.
