KAUST Global Fellowship Programme 2025 is the flagship postdoctoral initiative of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, highly competitive, and to be used for recruiting early-career researchers of the highest quality from all over the world in order to carry out groundbreaking, interdisciplinary research in inspiring academic surroundings.

KAUST offers world-class research facilities and a collaborative environment to spur innovation. The Global Fellowship Program focuses exclusively on scholars working in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Clean Energy, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Robotics, and any other emerging area of science, engineering, or technology. The fellowship aims to make it possible for researchers to seriously try to answer the largest challenges of the world by giving them all the tools and support they may need for their advancement.

Purpose of KAUST Global Fellowship Program

The KAUST Global Fellowship Program will aim to build and empower early-career researchers with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities for high-impact, cutting-edge research, all of which will meet in scientific exploration at the culmination of considerably better solutions in many world challenges in science, engineering, and technology.

A fellowship that attracts the world’s premier researchers to KAUST to foster collaboration and exchange of knowledge would make KAUST a pioneer destination for pioneering work. Such a fellowship may also play a role in developing leaders in academics, industry, or government, as it will give fellows the opportunity to polish their skills as well as contribute to the revelations that are beneficial to society in the large.

Eligibility Criteria KAUST Global Fellowship Program

  • The scholarship is specially designed for postdoctoral researchers to commence a 3-year research project.
  • Candidates must be awarded a Ph.D. within 4 years or have 4 years of research experience.
  • The research project should be based on the critical global challenges related to the five pillars.
  • Candidates must meet the requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to get a residential facility there.

Application Process

  • All candidates can apply while registering themselves through an email account.
  • The applicants will receive an email notification confirming the registration.
  • Provide all required personal information, e.g., name, address, country, religion, etc.
  • Provide academic qualification details including the name of degree, institute, main course, specialization, date completed, etc.
  • Provide the details of your current or recent position including job title, starting and ending date, organization, name of employer, etc.
  • Provide two best publications including article title, publication type, publication title, and date.
  • Provide the name of one KAUST faculty member and the other preferences.
  • Provide details of two referees including name, position, organization, and email address.
  • Complete all the required fields that are necessary for registration.
  • Complete your registration request carefully and submit it.
  • If you are selected, you will be informed by the KAUST faculty.
