CrossCulture Program in Germany

This CrossCulture Program will be an amazing journey for free to Germany and a possibility to join intellectual workshops and events facilitated by CEE. The CrossCulture Leadership and Exchange Program is sponsored by the German Federal Foreign Office. This program is aimed at helping professionals and dedicated and able volunteers think out of the box and look beyond their cultural attachments to take part in the development and growth of their communities. One of the biggest benefits of this program is that it brings together professionals from almost all genres of life- propagators of culture, education, science, medicine, etc.

The CCP in Germany is totally a new exchange program, geared towards contributing to intercultural dialogue and professionalizing civil society actors all over the world. Funded by the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association, DVV International, the objective of this initiative is mainly meant to bridge gaps between cultures through the ability of participants to engage with local communities, institutions, and organizations within the country.

The CCP offers two to three month internships, compelling the participants to learn all the intricacies of the German culture while honing their unique experiences. The professionals and volunteers who attend these internships come from a diversity of disciplines, including youth work, education, social work, culture, and human rights protection. The diversity brings in broad and unrestricted practice sessions where people can share with one another for mutual learning and understanding.

Application Guidelines of CrossCulture Program

Purpose of CrossCulture Program

CrossCulture Program is intercultural exchange for the empowerment of civil society actors worldwide. It should have fellowships either in Germany or in the partner countries for a maximum period of three months for professionals and volunteers of all nationalities in order to enhance experience; the program encourages mutual learning because it involves the sharing and exchange of ideas and knowledge between the participants and their host organizations.

Eligibility Criteria CrossCulture Program

  • The participant must be the national of the country given in the list.
  • Participants from Germany can apply.
  • The age of the participants must be at least 23 years at the time of the application.
  • The participants must have at least two years of professional experience in civil society organizations in their home country.
  • The applicant must be proficient in the English language and knowledge of the German language will be a plus point.
  • The applicant must be in good health.

Benefits of CrossCulture Program

The ifa scholarship for international recipients covers the following expenses:

  • A monthly stipend of 650 euros
  • Round-trip flight expenses
  • Accommodation
  • Monthly public transport ticket within the area of residence
  • Health insurance
  • Visa fee reimbursement

The ifa covers the following costs for scholarship holders from Germany :

  • monthly scholarship of 1,200 euros
  • refund of return flights
  • reimbursement of visa fees
  • health insurance
