WIPO Young Experts Program 2025 In Switzerland

WIPO Young Experts Program 2025 In Switzerland

The WIPO Young Experts Program (YEP) seeks to enhance and broaden the skills of the future leaders in global Intellectual Property (IP) in order to foster the development of innovation ecosystems worldwide.
During this 2-year rigorous program, a select group of 10 skilled and promising people will have the opportunity to directly contribute to WIPO’s diverse range of initiatives. The Program provides participants with the opportunity to learn about both the technical and strategic elements of intellectual property (IP). This enables YEP participants to acquire valuable skills and information that may contribute to the future economic development of their countries and regions. This presents an exceptional chance for advancing your professional trajectory and participating in a program that fosters leadership skills for a lifetime.

The primary purpose of the YEP is not to recruit individuals into WIPO, but rather to cultivate and develop future intellectual property (IP) leaders who can have a tangible impact in many regions across the globe. Therefore, participants in the YEP will be prohibited from applying for any positions at WIPO while they are enrolled in the program, following the established practice in previous programs. Those participating will also not be allowed to work at or for WIPO in the two years following the end of their involvement in the YEP.

The fully-funded Young Leaders’ Program 2025 in Switzerland welcomes adolescents from throughout the world and occupies them with a worldwide agency whose workforce comprises individuals from more than 120 countries. WIPO is the global forum that works for intellectual property, policy, services, information, and cooperation. It is a self-funding entity of the United Nations. It was formed with the purpose of spearheading the establishment of a balanced, efficient, and effective international IP system that can ensure revolutions worldwide.
